Aaron White has been performing live since the ninth grade in high school, which has allowed him to build a strong set of covers and craft his own original tunes. Since his youth he has frequently set-up busking in Mudgee where he worked on honing his craft and in 2018 did an appearance on Mudgee’s Real FM, performing four songs and doing an interview for Australian Commercial Radio Award Winner Andrew Andrews. Since Moving to Newcastle Aaron’s focus has been on his studies as a Bass Guitarist however has managed to maintain a steady number of guitar gigs playing in duos with musician friends; Jacinta Amy and Katherine Waria. His own solo work even earned him an opening act slot for 80’s New-Wave/Punk Legends MI-SEX on their 2018 Australian Tour when they played the main stage at The Cambridge, Newcastle. In January 2020 he performed at numerous stages at the Tamworth Country Music Festival in support of his debut single “Weightless (17.01.2020) and released his debut EP on January 7th 2020. 2021 saw the release of two acoustic guitar driven singles in ‘That Time Again’ & ‘Weightless (Acoustic)’.

Aaron’s debut EP “Aaron White & The Passengers” is was released on February 7th 2020. This Album is a collection of material written over the past six years, brought to life by a full five-piece band. This band has been a goal for Aaron since he moved to Newcastle in 2016 and finally these songs have taken on a whole new life that transforms them from simple, acoustic, country-pop songs to something truly special.

That Time Again & Weightless (Acoustic)
In February 2021 Aaron released ‘That Time Again’, a country ballad about the moving away from a small town and expresses the emotions his parents went through during this time. It features the incredible Sue Carson on violin and has such a classic country feel to it. Following the released of That Time Again, Aaron recorded an acoustic version of his debut single ‘Weightless’ featuring more country stylings to the alternative rock song. This change of instrumentation gives the song a whole new energy that really let’s Aaron’s country roots shine through.

Circles
On August 31st 2023 Aaron White & The Passengers released their first new release in 2 years. A catchy pop song written about Aaron & his fiance’s love story, it’s a lovely song full of beautiful, souring harmonies. Circles is the first of a batch of three new songs produced by drummer Alex Brollo (with drums & scratch tracks recording at Hazy Cosmic Jive Studios). It also features a new lineup of the band who come together to creature music with such positivity and joy that is showcased in their live performances.
